This is the first in a series of computer music styled recordings I will be releasing. These are works inspired by the computer and large systems from the 50s and 60s such as the Buchla, RCA and MUSIC-N systems.

The grand/majestic nature of this work is more powerful at a lower volume than at a high volume. Imagine listening to Richard Strauss - Also Sprach Zarathustra (2001: A Space Odyssey) over and over for 72 minutes. You'd be stark raving mad by the time it's over. This might just be good advice for most drones. You must think of them as a backdrop, a meditative and relaxing breath to seek your own personal bliss in. At lower volumes the listener is able to interact with the drone. A GREAT SCAPE! Brian Bourassa
